High Fidelity Wraparound Program for Children's Mental Health


The High Fidelity Wraparound Program for Children's Mental Health is a comprehensive and individualized approach designed to support children and adolescents with complex emotional and behavioral needs. This program aims to empower families and caregivers to actively participate in the care and decision-making process for their child's mental health treatment. Key Components:

  1. Strength-Based and Family-Centered: High Fidelity Wraparound is built on the principles of strength-based and family-centered care. It acknowledges that families are the experts on their children and that each child has unique strengths and needs.

  2. Individualized Planning: A team of professionals, including mental health experts, caregivers, educators, and community providers, collaborates to create an individualized plan for each child. This plan addresses the child's specific needs, treatment goals, and desired outcomes.

  3. Cultural Competence: The program recognizes the importance of cultural competence and aims to respect and integrate the cultural, ethnic, and individual values of the child and family.

  4. Community-Based Services: High Fidelity Wraparound focuses on delivering services and support in the child's natural environment, such as at home, school, or in the community.

  5. Crisis Management: It includes a crisis management plan to address urgent situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of the child and others.

  6. Coordination and Collaboration: The program promotes coordination and collaboration among various service providers to avoid fragmentation and ensure seamless care.
