In consideration of this entry, I waive any and all claims for myself and my heirs against officials, sponsors, Smoke & Soul organizers, Kansas City Barbecue Society, The Brain Injury Advocates of Wyoming, Rocky Mountain BBQ Association, Electrical Providers, Sponsors and Volunteers associated with this event from liability. Further, I hereby grant full permission to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or other record of this event for any legitimate purpose. I agree to abide by the rules and regulations of the Smoke and Soul Fest, Natrona County, WY, Rocky Mountain BBQ Association, and the Kansas City Barbecue Society.
Rules/Information:
1). Competitors will have the option to set up your grills or smokers on site to cook. Peoples choice cooks may also cook their meats at home and deliver the finished product on Saturday July 13th, at 2:00 pm.
2). We will provide the pork butt for you to cook the day prior to the event, July 12th.
3). Please pull the pork butt prior to turn in, it will be given to the peoples choice volunteers and will be given a randomized number to ensure a blind tasting.
4). Additional pork butts may be available depending on availability the day of the event. If there are extras, teams may receive up to 2 pork butts for their entry. You are welcome to purchase any additional pork butts to submit for your tasting, but The Smoke & Soul Fest will provide 1.
5). Ensure all items for turn in, including garnishes are edible, non edible garnishes (such as plastic decorations) will be discarded prior to serving.
